I advocate for the preservation of our right to self-defense, recognizing the need to empower individuals to safeguard themselves if necessary. However, I harbor reservations about the ease of access to firearms, particularly for individuals lacking the maturity and responsibility to handle them safely, as evidenced by my frustration when my daughter acquired a firearm at 18. My perspective echoes elements of libertarian ideology, emphasizing personal liberties tempered by a recognition of societal safety concerns

However, as the pregnancy progresses and the fetus develops, the rights of the unborn child become increasingly relevant and deserving of consideration.Access to free and easily obtainable birth control is essential in empowering individuals to exercise control over their reproductive choices.
